Summary

In this warm-up game, the participants are asked to describe the title of a book, movie, show or song by only using emojis. After every team member made their choice, they select a maximum of five matching emojis, that would represent the respective title in the most understandable way. To share the riddle with the rest of the team you can use your chat tool of choice (if you're playing in a remote meeting) or a simple text field on a presentation screen (if you are located in the same meeting room).

Step-by-step
  1. Think of a movie, book, show or song and then try to interpret the title by using a maximum of five emojis (you can browse through the emoji library of your chat tool if you are not familiar with existing possibilities).

  2. The participants send their selection of emojis in the meeting chat (if you are playing remotely) or display them on a shared presentation screen (if the team is located in the same room). The rest of the team now guesses the encrypted title. If they have a hard time getting the right answer you can also provide hints (e.g. "It's the title of a book." or "It's a song about a city.").
