Summary
Based on a pre-defined topic or scenario, each participant is asked to roughly sketch down eight (UI) scribble versions with 45 seconds time for each scribble. The goal is to get 8 different scribbles on one topic from each participant. The time limitation prevents from getting too crazy with ideas and should be followed strictly.
Step-by-step
  1. Hand out pens and paper sheets (e.g. A3 paper size) or use the Crazy Eights template.
  2. Give 45 seconds per sketch, about 5 minutes in total.
  3. Always remind the participants about the current time and sketch iteration number so that everyone is working in the same window.
